Ideas for using Airliners

Heidi has used her airliner in several ways. The one that I observed involved using strawberries to represent notes (The name of the song that she was teaching was "Strawberry Shortcake".). As the kids sang the song, there was great discussion about which line each note (strawberry) belonged on. Heidi would move the note to where the children suggested it rest and then the song would be sung again to determine if that was the right placement.
